''Whatever we do, we do it properly'' is one of our guiding principles at Eternit (Schweiz) AG. In concrete terms, this means that we care about the manufacture and use of products, about the manufacturers in our own works and users out on site, about designers and architects, about façade builders and about roofing contractors.
We ourselves are not designers, but we produce the materials that designers use. The quality of their art is governed by the quality of our construction materials. That is why we seek dialogue; for example, we support the Eternit Architecture Award, we collaborate with the gta (institute for history and theory of architecture) at the ETH (Swiss federal institute of technology) in Zurich, and with schools, and we issue our own publications, such as Arch and subject journals. Solutions are often produced from discussions with architects.
